CRAFTING & MATURATION:
Scottish Leader 12YO is an endlesly smooth, rich and fruity blend which is perferctly balalnced. 12YO is produced using a bespoke mix of non-peated Speyside and Highland malts combined with Scottish grains for a smooth and approachable style. The majority of the Speyside and Highland selected malts are matured in American Oak casks, which contribute towards the rich oak and vanilla characteristics, and the fruity floral elegance.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Deep copper gold
Nose: Rich and aromatic, well balenced aromas of sherry, orange, nutmeg, candied fruits and toffee apple.
Taste: Rich, nutty, full and creamy with silky black fruit flavours, white pepper and sweet smoke.
Finish: Mellow, gentle spice and lingering.
